General: These sites contain information about topics covered here.
Flags of the World- A staggering project, which offers the flags and thumbnail histories of many nations I've covered here, and many I haven't gotten around to yet. Nearly as humbling as Rulers.org, which aims to list every head of state (ever), or as WorldStatesmen.org, which has the same ambition and also includes links to constitutions, flags, anthems, and a wealth of other information.
The Imperial Collection- A guide to banknotes, postage, and coinage from micronations and secessionist states.
The Micronation and Sovereignty Website Index- A guide to websites for and about micronation projects.
Temporary Autonomous Zone- This work by the anarchist Hakim Bey contains valuable insights into many of the movements and nations I have covered here. However, it should be noted that Bey's work is as much romantic polemic as it is historical research.
By Nation: Please note that many other links are located in the Bibliography section.
Abkhazia- Yahia Kazan's excellent site on Abkhazia, with a particular focus on the struggle for independence. It does not appear to have been updated lately.

Alcatraz Nation- A collection of photographs from the Alcatraz occupation from Prof. Troy Johnson.
Bougainville- A collection of Web resources on the Bougainville conflict from the World History Archives.
Cabinda- FLEC's official web site. In French. A word of warning: in personal communication, FLEC has taken issue with my portrayal of their struggle, insisting most strenuously that Cabinda is not an Angolan enclave.
Canudos- A site on Canudos edited by Antonio Olavo. I assume it's excellent, but it happens to be in Portuguese.
